Gyprock Wet Area Base Coat is a moisture resistant compound used for the taping and second coat when jointing plasterboard and fibre cement sheets in internal wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundries as well as alfresco areas. This product is suitable only for the first and second coats in a three coat plasterboard jointing system.
Gyprock Final Finish is a heavyweight topping compound, used as a top coat in a three coat plasterboard jointing system. It is formulated as a topping compound for finishing joints and angles of plasterboard and fibre cement and not for bedding tapes and second coats. For these coats, Gyprock Multi-Purpose Joint Compound or Gyprock Wet Area Base Coat should be used.
Gyprock Cornice Cement is used for installing Gyprock cornice at wall and ceiling junctions where the walls and ceilings are lined with plasterboard. It is also used for finishing cornice joints and mitres and small cornice repairs. This is a fast setting cement with a working life of 50 - 60 minutes after mixed with water. It has very good initial grab and high bond strength after setting making DIY installation easy.
Gyprock Rapid Patch is a fast setting dry powder based compound used for repairing holes, nicks and cracks in plasterboard, fibre cement, timber and masonry. It can also be used as an all-purpose compound for setting plasterboard joints. Once mixed with water, Rapid Patch has a working life of around 20 minutes.
Gyprock Pre-mixed Cornice Cement is used for installing Gyprock cornice at wall and ceiling junctions where the walls and ceilings are lined with plasterboard. It is also used for finishing cornice joints and mitres and small cornice repairs, and for filling cracks and imperfections between walls ceilings and cornice.
