Plasterboards

Plasterboard - FlexiBOARD® This 6.5mm thick plasterboard is used to construct curved walls, arches, ceiling and feature panels with ease. Applied to timber, steel or masonry substructures, FlexiBOARD® produces a smooth flush finish when jointed, with a superior surface that accepts a wide range of decorative finishes.
Plasterboard - Standard Core By far the most popular interior lining product used in domestic and commercial construction today. Available in 10mm and 13mm thicknesses, with either recessed or square edge profiles, Standard Core plasterboard is used where fire-resistance ratings are not required.
Plasterboard - UniSPAN™ UniSPAN™ is 10mm thick plasterboard used as a ceiling lining where framing members are spaced at up to 600mm centres. With its superior anti-sag performance, UniSPAN™ provides an easy to install, lightweight alternative to 13mm plasterboard lining.
Plasterboard - Wet Area Plasterboard™ Moisture resistant Wet Area Plasterboard™ is used for lining of wet areas in bathrooms, shower recesses, laundries and toilets. Available in 10mm and 13mm thicknesses with recessed edges, Wet Area Plasterboard™ must be installed in accordance with Boral Plasterboard instructions in order to satisfy regulatory requirements.
Plasterboard - FireSTOP™ Boral FireSTOP™ Plasterboard must be used in partition wall and ceiling systems where specific fire-resistance ratings are required. FireSTOP™ features a specially formulated fire-resistant core, recessed edges, and is available in 13mm and 16mm thicknesses.
Plasterboard - Wet Area FireSTOP™ Wet Area FireSTOP™ plasterboard was developed specifically for use in wet area fire-rated partition systems. Wet Area FireSTOP™ plasterboard is available in 13mm and 16mm thicknesses with recessed edges and is largely used in commercial construction.
Plasterboard - SoundSTOP® Produced in 10mm and 13mm thicknesses, Soundstop plasterboard was specifically developed for use in high-performance acoustic wall and ceiling systems not requiring fire-rating. SoundSTOP® plasterboard is utilised in QuiteZone®, CinemaZone®, PartiWALL® and other proprietary systems.
Plasterboard - ShaftLINER™ ShaftlLINER™ is 25mm thick fire-rated plasterboard used in PartiWALL™, EurekaWALL® and Shaft Wall systems. ShaftlLINER® panels have bevelled edges and are produced in 600mm width and lengths up to 3.6m.
Plasterboard - EchoSTOP™ Sound absorptive plasterboard with recessed edges available with either square or round perforations. Used as ceiling or wall lining where sound absorption is required.
Plasterboard - ImpactSTOP™ Recessed edge plasterboard with a fibreglass mesh providing increased impact resistance. Used in high traffic areas to minimise damage from incidental impact.

Jointing Compounds The leading gypsum-based setting products designed for taping and base coating plasterboard joints and angles. Possessing superior joint filling characteristics with smooth flow under trowel and through machine, both offer a strong and durable bond and low shrinkage. BaseCote 45 has a working time of approximately 45 minutes. BaseCote 60 has a working time of approximately 60 minutes. Basecote 90 has a working time of approximately 90 minutes.
Finishing Compounds Recognised by the trade as the premium air drying compounds designed for use as a finishing coat over taping and base coats. Products are pre-mixed for immediate use and are designed for hand trowel or machine application. FinalCote is a premium semi-lightweight formulation, TopCote 550 is a premium heavy-bodied formulation and both offer easy sanding to give a smooth finish.
Plaster Adhesives Gypsum-based adhesives designed to fix plain and decorative cornices to plasterboard walls and ceilings. With superior initial tack, excellent finishing qualities and durable bond, cornice fixing is a simple task. Cornice Adhesive 45 has a working time of approximately 45 minutes. Cornice Adhesive 60 has a working time of approximately 60 minutes.
All Purpose Compounds All Purpose Pre Mix and All Purpose Dry Mix are air drying, vinyl based compounds which can be used as a three coat wall jointing system with paper tape. Alternatively they can be used as a second and/or finishing coat over gypsum jointing compounds. All Purpose Pre Mix removes the need for time consuming preparation, while All Purpose Dry Mix allows the user to mix to a preferred consistency. All Purpose Plaster is a lightweight, high strength, softer sanding gypsum setting base with a working time of around 50 minutes.
Wet Area Compounds The complete acrylic system for jointing and sealing wet area plasterboard in residential buildings. Ready mixed for immediate use, these products conform to the requirements of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standard 3740. Wet Area Taping Cement is designed for use with reinforcing tape in joints and angles and as a thin coat over other areas. It is packaged in 1.75 kg and 6.4 kg pails. Wet Area Sealant is a flexible gap sealant which compensates for joint movement. It is packaged in 450 g cartridges. Wet Area SealCote is a water resistant coating which gives additional protection against moisture in wet areas. Packaged in 1 litre and 4 litre pails.
Stud Adhesives The leaders in acrylic adhesives for fast fixing of plasterboard to timber and metal studs. The superior formula prevents skinning in the heat and thickening in the cold. The tough flexible bond resists cracking and compensates for minor frame irregularities. Packaged in 5.2 kg pails.
